How we work: The environment and sustainability
Our commitment to have a positive impact on the environment and help ensure a sustainable future for generations to come is at the heart of everything we do.
On-site, through our supply chain and on our premises, we aim to:
- Create more energy-efficient buildings
- Reduce demand for natural resources
- Reduce the need for ongoing maintenance and complex bolt-on technology
- Divert waste from landfill for reuse or recycling
- Source as much of our supply chain as locally as possible to keep emissions from transport to a minimum
We’re constantly improving our skills and knowledge in this area and have recent experience delivering projects that meet BREEAM and Passivhaus standards.
To monitor and measure our progress, we carry out an internal environmental impact assessment every year.
